Why does accurate diagnosis of injuries matter?

Advanced Training in MRI/Diagnosis

A trauma-trained chiropractor has taken additional post-graduate training in various subjects such as MRI Interpretation, Spinal Disc and Ligament Neurology and Pathology, Concussion/Traumatic Brain Injury, and Electrodiagnostics. We read our own imaging, confer with radiologists and medical professionals to collaborate on testing rationale, results, and what actions will follow.

Trauma-trained chiropractors may be qualified to work in hospital settings and Emergency Departments in a role that supports the team, or from independent clinical locations in the same role. This advanced training improves the diagnosis of injuries and allows for more effective, appropriate treatment, recovery and documentation of injuries which is important in keeping all practitioners and legal professionals on the same page while simultaneously justifying need for care and reaching a proper settlement value.

With an accurate understanding of the injuries, relating that to the patient and practitioners, and making clear reporting and recording of information, everything works more smoothly.
